BASEBALL ACADEMIES AND FACILITIES OVERVIEW
ISA academies and facilities are located all over the world and are the premier training locations for baseball players to develop and compete at the next level. Our international presence allows us to teach how the game is played by different cultures all over the world. All of our programs within our academies are set up to share knowledge of diversity and culture in a team environment.
Our core focus is complete development of a player based around four key values: strong fundamentals, athleticism, character, and mental toughness.

Fundamental drills. Defense: Teach proper glove work, throwing and catching. Hitting: Balance and contact. Pitching: Proper grip to the fastball with good mechanics. Catching: Teaching basic receiving, blocking and throwing down to the bases. Baserunning: How to run with the right technique, learn how to properly slide and read balls hit off the bat. |

Fundamental drills. Defense: Teaching proper glove and footwork, arm angles for throwing, catching flyballs and pop-ups. Hitting: Teaching direct path to the ball and using legs. Pitching: Teaching proper arm angle and delivery to prevent injury. Learning 4 seam and 2 seam fastball and learning about how to grip the ball. Catching: Teaching basic receiving, blocking and throwing to bases. Baserunning: Teaching principal baserunning techniques. Rounding bases properly, sliding, picking up ball and base coach, and hustling out everything. |

Catching: Teaching more advanced drills on receiving, blocking, transfer, throwing and being vocal with the infield. Baserunning: Teaching more aggressive baserunning, leads, jumps, stealing techniques by reading and timing the pitcher, baserunning situations. |

Pitching: Focusing on locating pitches, learn ball movement and more advanced mechanics, introducing more off-speed pitches. Catching: Teaching more advanced drills on receiving, framing, knowing your umpire and how to communicate with him, blocking, transfer, throwing and being vocal with the infield. Baserunning: Teaching more aggressive baserunning, stealing techniques, knowing the different baserunning situations. |

Catching: Teaching advanced drills, receiving and framing. Learn to communicate with the umpire, advanced blocking, transfers and throwing runners out. Baserunning: Teaching aggressive baserunning, stealing techniques, skilled baserunning situations. |
